What is inbound hiring?

 

Instead of job board listings, create a job profile and get instant matches. Candidates are pre-screened on basic and advanced qualifying factors. Inbound hiring replaces the traditional attract, apply, select hiring process by using machine learning to skip directly to the selection phase.

How does smart matching work?

 

Smart matching is a two step process. First, candidates are funneled on basic qualifications. Second, they are ranked on advanced fit metrics. Advanced fit is based on predictors of job performance and your custom inputs.

When candidates create a talent profile with work preferences, quizzes, skills, and badges, we use validated assessments to measure fit. Fit refers to their preferences and attributes on workstyle, environment, job characteristics, and other qualities.  Assessments are the gold standard of hiring, but often expensive because of the pay-per-candidate pricing model (we use a subscription model).

Second, recruiters or hiring managers create the job profile. Beyond a description and basic qualifications, you may add advanced fit metrics. While we can smart match without these inputs, telling us more about the ideal candidate will increase match ratings.

Do I have to use the video interview feature?

 

You can schedule a call directly with the candidate after reviewing their talent profile. You can also rate candidates’ pre-recorded interview responses or send your own interview questions.

However, we believe in video interviewing and so do candidates. When we surveyed 188 candidates, 62% rated them as more fair due to convenience, standardization, accessibility, objectivity and less interviewer bias.

What if candidates for my specific job aren't in the talent pool yet?

 

You can link the job description to traditional job boards, and your company still benefits from our assessment and screening process. Instead of an influx of resumes, you see top ranked job board applicants.
